Step-by-Step

Mark the day boundaries: 6:00 PM → 6:00 PM (New York time).
Within that day, mark the working area: 9:25 AM → 1:00 PM.
Within the working area, mark the Red Box: 9:30 AM → 9:32 AM.
Do this before moving on to any further analysis for the day.

How the Red Box can expand

The Red Box isn't necessarily locked at its original 2-minute size once you've marked it. What happens right after determines whether it stays that size or grows — and this matters, because everything downstream is read from the box's final boundaries, not just its initial mark.

This refers to the two-step confirmation process — a body close beyond a level, followed by continuation. It's covered in full in Stage 4's Confirmation lesson. You don't need to master it yet — just know the box can grow before you move on.

What is the Red Box Trading Academy community?

The community is a Discord environment built around the Academy's four stages. Instead of putting everyone into one large chat, access is organized by stage so you can learn and communicate with people working through the same material as you.

Why are the community chats separated by stage?

Because the conversations become more relevant when everyone is working with the same concepts. You are not placed in a mixed chat with beginners and advanced members discussing completely different parts of the curriculum.

Can I talk to other members?

Yes. Your stage chat gives you a place to discuss what you are learning, share your experience, and communicate with other members progressing through the same stage.

Is there moderator support?

Yes. There is a dedicated channel for questions that is moderated by real people. The goal is to provide a place where questions can be raised and addressed rather than simply being left unanswered.

What happens when I progress to the next stage?

Your community access progresses with you. When you unlock the next stage of the Academy, you also gain access to that stage's community chat.

What are the calendar alerts?

The Trading Calendar includes no-trading days and caution periods, which are posted within the community so members can take them into account as part of their preparation.
